MotoSouthAfrica offers two types of tour design, namely a "Road Tour" itinerary, and a mixed design called "Tar & Gravel Tour". All MotoSouthAfrica tour designs follow the same type of itinerary, same luxury accommodation options and all the activities, so that whatever the route and type of riding your group prefers, be assured that their experience will be spectacular. Same amount of FUN, your choice of ride!
Road Tour
Our Road Tours are journeys planned to be enjoyed on tar (asphalt) roads only. The roads that we choose for these tours are all well maintained and safe to use at any time of the year, in all weather conditions.

Tar & Gravel Tour
Our Combined Tours are journeys on tar (asphalt), as well as gravel (dirt) roads. The ratio between tar and gravel sections is generally about 50/50, but this can be altered to suit your group's preference. We can even change the type of road "on the fly" as they say, in other words a specific day's riding can be changed on the spot, from a tar to a gravel route and vice versa if required by the group or circumstances. With MotoSouthAfrica everything is possible! The roads that we choose for these tours are all well maintained and safe to use at any time of the year, in all weather conditions. There are no serious technical sections, but changing weather conditions may create some adventurous parts from time to time. Safety will, of course, always be of paramount importance.

Custom Tours
While most of our itineraries are structured around known routes, chosen venues and specific excursions, you might be looking for something totally different for your clients.
Our team of experts can plan a variety of very customised itineraries. If a tour is required to be of a certain duration, or have a specific theme, or be extremely low-budget or super luxurious, we can do it for your group.
